Quarantine

In this weird time, it has been easy for me to become bored, frustrated, sad, lonely, and unmotivated. I still remember telling two good friends the first week of this that I was living my best life, but now I tend to swing back and forth between highs and lows. I haven't read many books, which isn't like me. I was cooking more, but now that has even fallen to the wayside. My classes have either been burdensome or light, with very little in between. And yet, I've gone on some fun, free, socially distanced adventures.

Looking for an adventure too?
1. Cedar Ridge Nature Preserve
2. SMU campus with secret garden
3. Kessler Park trail and neighborhood
4. Trinity River and pedestrian bridge
5. Katy Trail

What have been some other highlights so far?
-all the walks!
-the surprise of Tiff's Treats after a rough couple of days
-Lilly's company
-meeting with a financial advisor and establishing a good financial path
-Zoom birthday call with some of my favorites
-flying to Virginia and driving back to Texas
-time with Allie, Jack, and Mom
-time with J
-hearing "The Blessing" and clinging to its truth
-completing my thematic unit for grad school
