Just Be
"We mostly spend our lives conjugating 3 verbs: to Want, to Have, and to Do. Craving, clutching, and fussing, on the material, political, social, emotional, intellectual--even on the spiritual--plane, we are kept in perpetual unrest: forgetting that none of these verbs have any ultimate significance, except so far as they are transcended by and included in, the fundamental verb, to Be: and that Being, not wanting, having and doing, is the essence of a spiritual life."

Oh how I struggle with this and have since I was a child. Why? I think it stems from the deeply rooted but false belief that I am not enough just as I am; my worth comes from what I do and produce. Lord, have mercy on me, and help me to believe Your truth, that I am enough, because You are enough. Help me to freely be and live joyfully in Your Presence.
