Volleyball

Last week I was helping keep the books at the girls volleyball game with the head of school who was keeping score. One of the little girls from the other team ran by the table to get a ball. It was by me, so I picked it up and handed it to her. She thanked me and complimented me. "I like your dress," she said. Quite simple, but it still felt good. I said, "I'll keep you around," and the head of school responded, "If only that was a 30-year-old single guy." I laughed, but really, if only that was true haha.
